I am the author of the online case management system called RIPS ( Refugee Information Processing System ), which allows caseworkers to manage their clients safely from anywhere in the world. RIPS has managed the cases of over 500,000 refugees in Ecuador, Egypt, Malaysia, Mexico, Tanzania, Thailand and the UK. More information about rips can be found on https://rips.amerainternational.org . I am the founder of Applied Network Solutions and until very recently was a trustee of AMERA International where I worked alongside Barbara Harrell-Bond. I now work closely with the Barbara Harrell-Bond Foundation. I provide RIPS to any charity or organisation anywhere in the world, so that they can manage all aspects of vulnerable people including legal records, health records, food, housing, education, outreach, social care and more. I would like to make RIPS available to more organisations, since it is now a mature solution available in many languages. Some of your members have been in touch asking why RIPS did not appear in your recent report: https://namati.org/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Providing-Legal-Services-Remotely_A-Guide-to-Available-Technologies-and-Best-Practices.pdf . This is probably my mistake, so I would like to remedy this and make you all aware of RIPS. I am also the author of 247lib.com, which allows you to set up online resources and documents in colourful online libraries, so that information such as policies, precedents, news, events can be shared.
