Ferdous Nigear joined BNWLA in March 2009 as Program Officer under Combating Domestic Violence (CDV) Project. She possesses more than nine years extensive experience in the field of Access to Justice and Human Rights. She has gathered exclusive knowledge on the formal and informal justice system of Bangladesh. In her current position she is responsible for overall legal aid service management. She has experienced to conduct various sessions on different women rights and human rights issues. She actively contributed to formulating draft of the Domestic Violence (Prevention & Protection) Rules 2013. She is contributing to publish different study of BNWLA and write different articles on human rights issue in the national dailies. Ms. Nigear has completed her Master degree in Social Work with Bachelor of Social Work (Honors) from Rajshahi University and Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) degree from National University and Master of Laws (LL.M) from Prime University.
