I am a social science researcher and Lecturer at University of Eldoret, Kenya. I am passionate about how good governance can spur economic growth and promote justice for all, especially the vulnerable. I am keen on how knowledge can influence policy hence promote positive societal transformation. I advocate for a closer working relationship between academics and practitioners hence help build the synergy required for action. I worked with NGO's including CARE Kenya and Windle Trust International at Dadaab refugee camps in Northestern Kenya between 2009 and 2012 before joining academia from 2012 to date. I am interested and have published in areas of governance, refugees and African politics. I hold a PhD(Conflict Transformation) from University of KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa and a Master of Science(Governance and Development) from University of Antwerp in Belgium. I also hold a MA(History) and B.Ed(Arts) degrees from Moi university, Kenya.
