I am Tomiwa Ilori, a lawyer and researcher on Internet freedom issues across the globe with focus on global south. The scope of my work includes providing strategic advocacy advisory, policy recommendations and legal analysis of digital rights challenges across the continent. I have worked on several reports which includes the Digital Rights status report in Nigeria and Africa which highlighted challenges of access, affordability and disruptions of the Internet and other digital rights issues. I am currently the Net Rights Africa Coalition Coordinator which seeks to map digital rights issues across Africa.

I am currently the Program Assistant/General Counsel at Paradigm Initiative in Nigeria and my work involves project management which includes providing strategic litigation recommendations on digital rights issues and Internet governance, organizing the Annual Internet Freedom Forum in Africa and also providing advisory on the Digital Rights and Freedom Bill (HB.490), a draft piec
