Interests: Environmental Justice
At present I have been working with BARCIK (Bangladesh Resource Centre for Indigenous Knowledge) as Director (Agro-ecology and Food Security) dealing community based Adaptation, Agro-biodiversity Conservation, livelihood and Food security issues. I am a Master of Science (MS) in Agricultural Extension Education from Bangladesh Agricultural University, Mymensingh in 2001.

I have gathered experiences on:
- Participatory natural resource planning, implementation and management; biodiversity conservation through habitat restoration, establishment of reserves and wise use practices;
- Biodiversity inventory and contemporary research on population ecology of threatened wildlife; partnership, linkage and network development with Govt. agencies, NGOs and civil society;
- Community institution building for sustainable natural resource management involving local community;
- Training of local stakeholders on biodiversity and wildlife conservation;
- Training/awareness material development for resources users;
- Project formulation/development and small grant management

During my 18 years of service, I have worked in diversified development programs aiming at the livelihood improvement and food security, value chain development, climate change adaptation, disaster risk reduction etc. The main reason for join the international learning exchanges, capacity building and work together at any form in future if possible.
