I am the founding Executive Director of the Whistleblowing International Network. I am a lawyer and have worked in the field of whistleblowing for 20 years - advising individual whistleblowers, employers of all sizes and sectors, and national and international policy makers.

I am originally from Canada and prior to getting my law degree at Dalhousie University in Nova Scotia and qualifying as a lawyer in Ontario, I did a history degree (Baccalauréat en histoire) at the Université de Montréal in Québec. I was Deputy Director of Public Concern at Work (now called Protect) in London, England for 9 years and I have worked at the Council of Europe at the Group of States against Corruption (GRECO) and at the Government Accountability Project in Washington DC. I am a Member of the Law Society of England and Wales.

I am very interested in learning about good practices in public interest law and human rights advocacy, using legal tools and knowledge in new and innovative ways to support WIN's mission and its participating NGOs around the world
