I have worked in the field of Public Interest Law for 5 years now and I have seen the impact that socio-legal innovations have had on communities, academia and the Government. My expertise so far is in legal research and writing. I also blog at http://socialjusticeblog.kweeta.com/ to disseminate legal information particularly to Ugandans that are not in the legal profession.

I am a member of NETPIL Uganda (Network for Public Interest Lawyers) where I also hold a leadership position as a member of the Advisory Committee. Through NETPIL I am able to conduct community literacy sessions with communities troubled with legal issues particularly in rural Uganda or among low income earners within the urban areas.

I am joining this network because like NAMATI I subscribe to sociological jurisprudence. Specifically, I want to broaden my network and engage in Public Interest Law beyond the confines of my country Uganda.
