Bradley Fortuin is social justice activist with over ten years of experience in program design and strategic management, focusing on developing, implementing, and strengthening LGBTIQ+-led movements. I have worked with several Civil Society Organisations in Botswana through the co-creation of intersectional advocacy initiatives. My focus is on building and strengthening communities on human rights development as a guiding principle to enable active participation of queer-led movements in socioeconomic, political, and systemic inclusion with a keen interest in the Global South.
I am currently the LGBTIQ, sex work and disabilityprogram officer at the Southern Africa Litigation Centre, working with regional organisations that advance the rights and wellbeing of LGBTIQ persons, sex works and people living with disabilities. This includes capacity building on legal empowerment, support and safety. Joining the network will help enhance my knowledge, access to resources to be able to support the communities further.
