He has worked for the Zimbabwe Environmental Law Association (ZELA) as a Legal Officer and the Climate Change and Energy Governance Lead before moving to ActionAid International Zimbabwe where he is currently a Projects Coordinator focusing on Civic Participation and State Accountability under a variety of projects including natural resources governance and climate justice. Darlington describes his professional joy in the application of laws to better the lives of marginalised populations, disadvantaged groups and people living in poverty. His work and research interests are in Environmental Law and Property Rights, Mining Law, Natural Resource Governance and Climate Change & Energy Law. To that effect, Darlington has published book chapters, journal, newspaper and blog articles in the above-mentioned areas and has made presentations at local, national, regional and international platforms. I hope to learn through experience of others by joining the network.
