Dorah Caroline Mafabi is a social justice advocate with over 8 years’ professional experience championing the rights of poor and vulnerable communities through implementing initiatives at the community and national level. Dorah works as the Program Manager, Access to Justice at the Democratic Governance Facility, Kampala -Uganda and supports state and non-state actors working to promote access to justice. She has worked on issues such as human rights promotion and protection, access to justice, child rights (female genital mutilation, trafficking in persons, child, early and forced marriage, eliminating child exploitation) sexual and gender and based violence, land and family justice, research and advocacy among others. She has built technical expertise in access to justice, good governance, civic engagement, rule of law and human rights protection, as well as research and analysis, training and capacity building, monitoring and evaluation and program management and implementation.
