TECHO (Unverified)
Joined March 2019
Interests: Citizenship & Identification, Community / Customary Land Rights, Gender-based violence, Housing Rights & Informal Settlements
As Head of International Cooperation for TECHO, I am an advocate for the power of civil society as the bridge between governments and communities, and interested in growing partnerships amongst actors of the international community to strengthen North-South Cooperation.

I am an International Relations graduate with broad international experience in NGO strategy, fundraising and raising partnerships from the public sector and foundations. Strong skills developed in international cooperation management for 19 countries in Latin America along my 4 years experience in the organization.

Together with my colleague Renata Escudero, Legal Director at TECHO International, and Mar Botero, Volunteering Director for the same organization, we saw it as a great opportunity to be part of a network which fights for the same legal and civil rights that TECHO seeks to strengthen throughout its events and programs. As an organization that fights to overcome poverty starting from community development, we feel that we have the power to positively shape the growth and development of this network, sharing our experiences, challenges, and successes in the relevant fields.

Worth mentioning is also Namati's participation to our Urban Campus, the event which will be presented under this year's Grassroots Legal Empowerment Prize, where we had the opportunity to empower thousands of young people and community residents on citizenship, land rights and advocacy.
