Jaruo B Karebe born on 27th August, 1982 is a Tanzanian man and an Administrator and teacher, Conflicts management and human rights activist, a researcher, trainer and a facilitator in gender issues in the country. I have twelve years experience in human rights and economic justice issues, good governance and peace programs since I have been working with NGO as Human Rights Monitor under Legal and Human Rights Centre (LHRC) and Tanzania human rights defenders Coalition (THRDC) Central zonal coordinator my main duties include monitoring human rights violations including women issues.

A part from being a human rights monitor currently I work as a Program Coordinator with Peace, Legal Aid and Justice Centre, which involves doing different projects related to Human rights and legal aid services, genders issues and economic empowerment. As a program Coordinator, I provide advice and support to PLAJC management on gender issues and one of my responsibilities is for gender and Valuable groups mainstreaming I work with our departments and partners to ensure that gender equity principles are incorporated into all policies and activities and to design, Plan and implementation of trainings on gender-related topics

He lives at Dodoma City- Dodoma region, Tanzania and his current positions are Executive Director for Tanzania Peace, Legal aid and justice center (PLAJC) the organisation focused on promotion of peace through reduction of peace and human rights violence and enhance social justice for sustainable peace, justice and development. And promoting Conflict prevention, analysis and reconciliation; enhance access to Justice as well as Economic empowerment for effective engagement in peace building and poverty eradication in the Country.

He works to oversees the functions of the Organisation for the purpose of ensuring compliance with performance standards towards all programs including strengthen legal empowerment on access to justice, by women and children to ensure protection of their basic rights and fundamental freedoms as recognized in the national, regional and international human rights instruments to enhance justice, peace and development in Tanzania and harmonizing and strengthening Peace Infrastructure in Tanzania the program helping in foster and improve inclusive participation, enhancing equality, Justice and participatory, good morals and patriotism among the community to increases the participation of communities in economic initiatives and peace building processes, leadership, decision making.
