A national of Sierra Leone and graduate from Njala University College with Bachelors of Science in Mathematics and Chemistry. Joined the development world after two years in the classroom teaching mathematics, statistics and chemistry. Started my development joining as research assistant in the Council of Churches in Sierra Leone, in planning Evaluation and Training (PET) department. It shaped my career towards organisation development and Program Cycle management. Continued in a consultancy firm as Program Assistant providing OD and Program cycle management to both private including national and international NGOs and the public sectors including Justice sector related Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs). Benefitted from courses in and outside Sierra Leone to strengthen expertise in the OD and Change Management. Between 2001 and 2006, got employed by Care international and Senior Program Manager mobilising resources and supporting civil society organisations with sub-grants to implement community local initiatives. After 2006, worked as an independent consultant, providing diverse Organisation and change management support to both public clients, including the Sierra Leone Police, Law Officers Department, Sierra Leone Correction Services, Justice Sector CSO, under the Justice Sector Development Programme (JSDP) implemented by British Council, a DFID funded project. At present, National Coordinator, helping members to set and pursue their vision and work geared towards attaining those vision. Continuous capacity building a an essential part of career development and it is my hope I would realise this desire through experience sharing as part of the network especially in the primary and formal justice system. A critical element of my role in my present organisation is to mobilise resources without which the organisation will not survive. Therefore, it is my desire that through joining hands with Legal Empowerment Network, we can work together and collectively accomplish this role.
