Lorma Baysah is a human rights and peace building strategist and analyst with a strong functional expertise in Civil Society coalition building, leadership, and community organizing. He has vast experience in cross-cultural and inter-communal peace building including mediation, dialogue, reconciliation, conflict analysis and prevention.

Lorma has professional skills and knowledge on policy advocacy, and waging nonviolent struggle. Additionally, Lorma has over 8 years of experience in designing and implementing Criminal Justice programs including human rights, rule of law that enhance the capacity of law enforcement officers, community residents including Traditional, Community, and Religious Leaders that enable them to contribute to the maintenance of the rule of law, the promotion and protection of fundamental human rights of community residents. Lorma has a Master Degree in Peace Building and Conflict Transformation from the School for International Training (SIT) based in Vermont, USA with several Graduate Certificates in human rights, and other disciplines.

Lorma is currently serving as an Executive Director for the Rural Human Rights Activists Programme (RHRAP) based in Monrovia. The intent of joining the network is to learn and share experience with likeminded colleagues in the promotion and protection of the rule of law, and fundamental human rights of communities that promote genuine democracy.
