Malick Mbengue Fall is serving as the Senegal Country Program Associate at Open Society Initiative for West Africa (OSIWA). He joined the Foundation in 2012 and since then, with the Head of Office, is coordinating the implementation of the strategy and action plan for Senegal. Malick is part of the OSIWA Legal Empowerment team, and three other sub thematic (Minority Rights, Transparency and Accountability and Food Security teams). Part of his work includes grant making, advocacy, monitoring, evaluation and learning. Prior to joining OSIWA, Malick worked with a Civic Movement based in Dakar and focus on civic engagement, political participation, and human rights.
Malick hold an M.A in Political Science, an M.A in literature and civilization of the Anglophone world. He is a PhD candidate working on a case study on democratization processes n Sub-Saharan Africa
