I am a Nigerian and I hold a first degree in International Studies obtained from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. I have over ten years work experience in the development sector. I have worked for different organizations before joining the Women’s Interfaith Council, an Interfaith based organization that promotes peaceful coexistence, peacebuilding, tolerance, non – violence, conflict resolution and women’s concerns. Over the years, I have developed competencies in administrative, managerial and programmatic skills including, resource mobilization, project design, management monitoring and evaluation having been involved in the implementation of several projects by different donor agencies and governments. I have also attended several trainings in different areas of development both locally and internationally.
I have interests working on gender issues and its mainstreaming into all sectors. I am also very passionate about peace works, access to livelihood opportunities and justice for all irrespective of gender, belief, creed and personal affiliation. I exhibit excellent spirit in team work through my cordial relationships with people of all ages and backgrounds. I have passion for development work by applying my knowledge and skills to help vulnerable people live better lives and I am also always desirous of learning of new things.
