Pamela Nwune is a senior Legal /programme officer with Legal Defence and Assistance Project (LEDAP) an NGO focused on the promotion and protection of human rights, rule of law and access to justice in Nigeria. In her role with LEDAP, Pamela delivers pro-bono services to survivors of human rights violations and also oversees the implementation of criminal justice and women’s rights projects in the organization.

Pamela holds a bachelor degree in Law and has been called to the Nigeria Bar. She is currently undergoing her Masters’ degree in law at the University of Lagos, Nigeria. She is a Chartered Secretary and member of the Nigerian Bar Association. She is currently the coordinator of working group of eight (WG8) on violence against women in Lagos, Nigeria.

I strongly believe this network will serve as a good platform for exchange of professional knowledge and experience on both challenges and successful actions on better ways to enforce legal empowerment initiatives.
