I am a paralegal working in the community Advice Office and is based in the rural areas of Qunu in Mthatha Eastern Cape. I am expecting to get more information regarding the services we offer for the people we serve and would like to gain information from other people on the side of law. In the organisation we are working with people with little understanding of the law we are interpreting the law using the founding document of the country and we are educating people on access to justice programmes. As a paralegal, I am trained on various aspects of the law and issues that commonly affect our people on the ground. Part of the expectations, is to reach more people in the areas of service and to gain and be empowered with legal skills and to gain from people of other countries of as to how to use the law effectively. As a person passionate about the work we do on daily bases it of the best interest to seek and get more information so as to assist people and empower them to use the law
