I am from Cameroonian and hold a Bachelor’s degree in law from the University of Buea, Cameroon, and a Master’s degree in Human Rights and Democratization from the Centre for Human Rights, University of Pretoria, South Africa. I have extensive knowledge and experience in national and international human rights practice, and prior to joining the Open Society Initiative for West Africa (OSIWA) as Law, Justice and Human Rights Program Officer, I served for over four years in various capacities at the African Commission on Human and Peoples’ Rights In Banjul, The Gambia. My primary focus is on international human rights litigation, access to justice, the treatment of persons deprived of their liberty citizenship rights and the relationship between modern and traditional justice systems.
