Abhiyan Nepal is Non-profit making, Non-Government community based organization established in 2000 AD. It is a pioneer organization in Eastern Nepal working to establish the right of farmers and landless through campaign and advocacy from grass -root to policy level. We are closely working with National Land Right Forum and we are also members of International Land Coalition.

Our mission is to establish a just and fair society where every citizen will enjoy the right without any discrimination and every citizen will have equal access and control over resources.

Save the Banganga first registered in Arghakhanchi District Administration Office in Nepal as a non-partisan, not-for-profit making and non-governmental organization in 2014. It is legally affiliated with both the Social Welfare Council of Nepal and the Inland Revenue Office. The organization was formed by a group of diverse people belonging to different castes and ethnicities, with decades of experience in disaster risk management, climate change adaptation, biodiversity conservation, wetlands management, livelihood resilience and other areas. Save the Banganga prioritizes empowering citizens socially, economically and culturally, seeing it as vital to the overall development and forging of a just and equitable society. It recognizes the importance of ecosystems, biodiversity conservation, sustainable development, food security, resilient livelihoods, customary rights through legal and societal awareness, capacity building, technology transfer, policy advocacy and knowledge management

Hello every one ! I am Sailendra Kumar Rai from Nepal. I am a land right activist and program coordinator at Abhiyan Nepal, a community based organization located at eastern Nepal. I am also a part time lecturer of Social Work in Itahari Namuna College, Itahari, Nepal. I have done my degree in Rural Development and Development Communication. I have been working as a land right activists from last four years.

I am a grass root level campaigner and social mobilizer. My field of interest is to work in community, so I joined Abhiyan Nepal to work in land right issue.

Through this network, I want to share my experience, land right campaign in Nepal and our advocacy strategies. I also want to learn about the global experiences about legal empowerment and other campaigns from across the globe.
