ACJ stands for the creation of a society free from all forms of child injustice through promotion of children’s rights and advocacy for Policy reform, as well as various programmes geared towards their protection, behavior change and social development in a child friendly environment.We offer Legal Aid services which include, facilitation of legal representation, preparation for court, case tracking and monitoring, through our Correctional Centres and Children’s villages: psycho social counselling, economic empowerment and educational support for children who come into conflict with the law and those at risk as well as Training and capacity building for law enforcement agencies in the areas of Human Rights and Child Justice. ACJ works at enhancing the generation, documentation and dissemination of information on child justice and its administration as a basis for advocacy and programming e.g establishment of child friendly courts and prison cells through resource mobilization.This is done through collaboration with other NGO’s and CBOs that deal with Child Justice and the welfare of children.
