Afrewatch works in Africa but with a focus on DRC. Our mission is that the extractive exploitation should be tonne interest of all parties communities, states, environment and companies.

We give accurate information, we build capacities, we work on legal reformes, we make litigation against companies and we implement research.

We work with communities and government officials.

Our work is in two areas : extractives industries an energy.  Now we work with more that 10 communities and we have more than 5 years working with these communities. 5 years programme.

We work on both artisanal mining and industrial. We have produce several report which can be found on our website.

Our objectives

  • To give rights information do people;
  • To hold companies accountable for their abuses on the communities
