Our vision, Mission and Objectives

Vision: A generation free of malnutrition, poverty and preventable diseases where women and girls partake in the same rights as men.

Mission: To prevent, control, and overcome hardships facing women, girls and children through sustainable advocacy and capacity building for the vulnerable population in Rwanda and Africa.

Objectives

1. Promote women empowerment to access equal opportunities with men and put to an end gender based violence

2. To promote sexual and reproductive Health Rights among adolescent girls and young women in Rwanda. Comprehensive sexuality education and the use of contraceptives in prevention of unintended pregnancies and new HIV infection.

3. To Promote women and girls entrepreneurship to reduce poverty through production, business and trade

4. Protect child rights to education, nutrition, and effective growth of both their physical and cognitive development.

Patience IRIBAGIZA is a young Rwandan woman aged 23 years, born and raised in Rwanda, with passion for youth and women empowerment to achieve gender equality. She is a blogger of young people and women’s Voice and poetic stories via sautizetu.com. She has bachelor’s degree in business administration in Finance department at the Adventist University of Central Africa-Rwanda and pursuing ACCA (Association for certified accountants) offered by Oxford University. In addition, she has worked for certificates that include international women’s health and human rights, international organizations management, project management , strategic leadership and management and global health innovation to mention but a few. Patience has been in Women’s movements during school such as W3 (Widen women’s Welfare). Patience was among the 15 finalists of Miss Rwanda 2017 and is currently the Founder and Executive Director of Afro Ark and Co-chair of AfriYAN Rwanda Chapter ( African Youth and Adolescents Network on Population and Development). Joining this network will enable me to stay to date on opportunities and issues that needs to be addressed. It will be a platform for network, combined efforts for collected voice for the youth.additional to that, it will be a platform to share best practices to advance youth.
