About Agaji Global Unity Foundation (AGUF) is an impartial, neutral, and independent Non-Governmental Organization whose mission exclusively established to promote life in underserved communities through empowering communities to know and protect lives including their environment towards ensuring safe habitation through participatory methodology. AGUF was established in 2008 but was incorporated in the year 2013 with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC). AGUF exists to partner with government and relevant agencies to promote and strengthen humanitarian law and a universal principle that seeks to honor the dignity of mankind with support and believe that Life is worth living and living well.

AGUF is a member of many networks in the country through their respective State chapters such as NANGO, CISHAN, State Planning Commission, AONN, CSACEFA, and a pioneering member of Child Protection Network [CPN] in the State.
With staff strength of over 50 including volunteers, manning our Program & Community Mobilization, Finance & Admin and Monitoring & Evaluation units; an organization owned office property, functional offices in Adamawa State, AGUF is growing to become a leading local CSO actor

In the last 5 years. AGUF has driven intervention in the development and humanitarian sectors; having successfully managed and still working on several UN agencies such as UN-OCHA, British Council/EU and other international donor agencies project valued at about 250million using innovative strategies such as Community Mobilization, Peace Building, Advocacy, Capacity Building, Referrals and Linkages which has contributed immensely to successful project and program implementations to the donor’s satisfaction

Am Mathew David by name, from Michika Local Government Area Adamawa State, North East Nigeria. With over seven years of experience, I bring focused expertise in protection which include but not limited to child protection (CP), Gender Base Violence (GBV),Gender Base Violence in Emergencies (GBViE), Child Protection Information Management System (CPIMS), Health, Education, Peace Building, MRM, development of M&E systems, including database development and maintenance. Highly skilled in using ICT gadgets and software applications in quantitative and qualitative research. Flexible and adaptive in working in a complex environment with a vast knowledge of Northern Nigeria.
The following achievements demonstrate my role:
 Actively participate in all aspects of Case management, data collections, including needs assessment, conflict and gender sensitivity sessions, community Mobilization, Dialogue Sessions, community needs forecasts, Protection mainstreaming, Hygiene promotion campaign, back to school / back to learning campaign and overall operations while demonstrating superior organization, time management, and excellent mentorship / leadership skills.
 Successfully spearheading community meetings throughout different community approach at all project life cycle from planning through execution.
 Organizing staff (Case workers and Community Volunteers) training and management activities to stimulate top-flight team performance and ensure stringent compliance with regulations and guidelines.

Looking at the rapid rise of Gender Base Violence, Discrimination and how people rights is been denied here in my country Nigeria, it is base on the above reason of mine, that I will like to join this great team in other to restore people Rights, Dignity, Hope and Freedom.
