Agape Women Initiative for Sustainable Development (AWISD), is involved in: Skill Acquisition training of vulnerable women and girls; Mentoring adolescent girls; creating awareness and testing on HIV/AIDS, Cancer and Hepatitis; works with Internal Displaced Persons especially Women and girls. works as Third-Party Monitor of Cash Transfer to the Poor of the poorest in Plateau State of Nigeria (World Bank Project); works in collaboration with UNwomen in Plateau State on Women in Peace and Conflict Resolution; Involved in activities of Water and Sanitation in two Local Government Areas of Plateau State sponsored by Water Aids international. Creating awareness in local communities on the high rate of Maternal and Infant mortality rate in Nigeria as a whole.
