AISDA is an international award-winning local NGO (The 2012 Stars International Health Impact Award Winner of Africa, Asia and the Middle East) with deep roots in Afar regional state since 2006. The organization has an excellent working relationship and reputation with donors, local government partners and different stakeholders. Similarly, the organization is one of the four 2014’s Medallion Award Winners of Afar Region at the Pastoralist Day celebrated in early 2015. AISDA’s headquartered at Addis Ababa with project coordination offices at its operational districts of Afar Region. It is legally registered by the Ministry of Justice in August 2006. Again, it is re-registered in line with the new NGO legislation with registration number 0288 by the Federal Civil Societies and Charities Agency.

My name is Masresha Andarge, founder and executive director of a national NGO called AISDA-Action for Integrated Sustainable Development Association working on supporting poor and marginalized pastoral communities in remote pars of Ethiopia.
