MISSION

Building on all people’s humanity and ability to connect, Aluta Development Network works to better people’s  lives through addressing the social determinants, social conditioning, gender conditioning and gender-based role stereotypes cause harm to men and women.

Aluta Development Network works from the belief that a society where men and women are free from the negative effects of these factors will lead to better lives for men and women.

In line with the government’s development strategies, Aluta Development Network’s work is guided by its commitment to the development of the people.  Its aim is to ensure that people have the knowledge to make informed choices about gender mainstreaming and economic development issues that will be beneficial to themselves and their communities.  All of Aluta Development Network’s programs are based on community needs and the organization involves communities in the monitoring and evaluation of these programs.
