LET STATION is a grass-root organization located in Prilep, North Macedonia, working on providing equal access to justice for all citizens, especially those from marginalized communities.

LET STATION is an association dedicated to realization of the legal needs of the citizens by encouraging openness and cooperation of the institutions.
The main goals of our work and actions are:
– To provide education and assistance to citizens in order to exercise their rights, with a focus on vulnerable and marginalized groups, in the area of ​​health and social rights.
– To encourage institutions of the system of transparency and responsibility in the work, adapted to the needs of the citizens.
– To promote equality of citizens on all grounds, by undertaking activities for prevention and protection against discrimination.
– To provide conditions for multi-ethnic and social cohesion and action by involving persons of different ethnic, geographical and social profile,
– To contribute to achieving gender equality and tackling existing inequalities between men and women.

Since its establishment, numerous activities have been realized in order to achieve the above goals, and some of the achieved results include:

  • Formed and active 2 groups (Community Promoters who work to promote health rights of marginalized communities and Paralegals formed and active for better coverage and providing access to justice for all).
  • A telephone and online service “Call emergency paralegal aid” has been introduced as a rapid response to the COVID – 19 crisis, which is available 24/7 for all citizens, in order to quickly respond to their legal needs and problems.
  • Legal and administrative assistance is being provided on a daily bases to more than 100 persons per month for exercising the rights of health, social protection, insurance, labor rights, etc.
  • Activities are  being implemented continuously  in the direction of monitoring corruption and conflict of interest, primarily by institutions at the local level, starting with public health institutions and other local institutions.
