Aswa Community Development Initiative-ACDI is a fully registered Community Based Organization (CBO) with the Gulu District Local Government Community Services Department with Registration Number CDR/4875 and Gulu District NGO Forum with Registration Number GDNF/MO/209 and was established in 2011 by a group of volunteer youth. The current areas of operation are Awach and Palaro Sub-Counties Aswa county Gulu District. ACDI envisions a well empowered, educative, healthy and developed community living in a well conserved environment. Primarily among the aims of ACDI are; improving the socio-economic conditions of women, youth, children and the elderly with great emphasis on those living with HIV/AIDS, widows, children (orphans) and ensuring the enrichment of their rights to help them fight stigmatization and environmental annihilation

I am Nokrach Kenneth Kaunda, a born of 1984, Ugandan by nationality, Catholic by religious affiliation and I currently work for Aswa Community Development Initiative-ACDI, Gulu Office in Uganda as a Field Officer where I assist in coordination, training youth, provide evidence based advocacy for youth, do programming and write project report, supervising Peer Counselors, and develop training manuals, linking ACDI with other stakeholders, and assisting the human resources department where necessary, I am also responsible for carrying out initial assessments of the identified vulnerable children, youth and women in Awach and Palaro sub- counties with training and administrative support, monitoring and evaluation of all the ACDI projects.
As per the context in the question, I am looking for to be empowered academically to be a roll model in the society and make them to exercise their rights and freedom in all aspects of life so that they are self independence
