I am a technologist that has spent the last 10 years developing solutions around information management and specifically evidence protection. I was part of the team that pioneered the first digital evidence recording equipment for the London Metropolitan Police Force, which at the time was focused upon vulnerable witness protection. Now I am the MD of AVET Technology where we have developed a purpose built sophisticated yet portable, rugged and reliable digital evidential recorder, that can be used anywhere regardless of wealth, status or location. It is our intention to use our expertise to support the UN SDG’s 5, 10 and 16 and are currently engaged in programs in Africa and Asia around supporting efforts to combat modern day slavery, domestic violence, child protection, fraud and corruption. We intend to support governments, NGO’s, charities and state offices by assisting them to implement best practice around evidence collection as one of the first links to deliver justice to all. In addition to the technology we also supply PEACE interview training so as to ensure all information collected can provide a compelling example of the value of justice for all to the local authorities.
