Blessed Aid works in DRC with a focus on human rights and overall protection. Its mission is to advocate to consolidate peace in the world; overall protection and sustainable development.

Blessed Aid is a national with the vision of becoming an international operating value-based emergency relief and development organization, working in and on fragility situation. We stand side by side with vulnerable communities directly affected by conflicts in Democratic Republic of Congo.

1. Geographic coverage Blessed Aid has a range of action throughout the Democratic Republic of Congo in particular and at the international level in general.

2. Strategic positioning:

– Vision: Living in a world without discrimination, without violence, without poverty and tears and where all the nations adopt a culture of peace with a spirit of mutual understanding.

– Mission: The mission statement of Blessed Aid is to advocate for the consolidation of peace in the world, global protection and sustainable development for the benefit of all the communities through a culture of dialogue, pacific cohabitation where everyone fights against poverty, injustice, illiteracy and social inequality.

3. Legal nature and areas of intervention: Blessed Aid is a Non-Governmental Humanitarian and Development Organization.

4. Areas of work: Blessed Aid works in the following areas:

  • Peace and Human Rights;
  • Development and empowerment of women, children, young girls and boys and all other vulnerable people;
  • Education;
  • Promotion of primary health care;
  • Overall protection;
  • Environment and sustainable development.

5. Blessed Aid Organs: Blessed Aid is an organization which operates on the basis of the following bodies   :

  • General Assembly
  • Board of Directors
  • Control Commission
  • Executive Direction
  • Representative Offices Abroad.

These bodies operate according to the provisions of the basic texts which govern Blessed Aid, including the Statutes, the Internal Regulations and the Manual of Administrative and Financial Procedures.

Blessed Aid has got legal documents from the government of DRC with the UN Special Consultative Statutes (ECOSOC).
