Presence in: Cameroon
Focus: Citizenship, Education, Environmental Justice, Gender-based violence, Peace-building, Women's Rights

Bridgers Association Cameroon was hatched from a careful sociological study inspired by some of our life experiences and stories. We settled on the decision to create a nongovernmental, nonprofit Civil Society Association that was to champion the empowerment of women and promote human and community development, and carry out effective sensitization and capacity building for sustainable development in our society. All these to work towards achieving SDG’s.

We have an Advisory Board and a dedicated volunteering staff headed by Madam AZAH Jackline CHEY. This is a dynamic team of men and women of all walks of life imbued with practical experience and the zeal to positively contribute in changing lives in a holistic and sustainable manner.

Bridgers operates from Buea, South West Region of Cameroon and always ready to partner and work with others in good faith to achieve results that advance the female folk.

We carry out result oriented need based assessment on challenging issues affecting women/girls and beneficiaries and then advocate for unanimously agreed sustainable solutions to the problems. Through our projects we bring relief to the suffering underprivileged masses to alleviate poverty and improve livelihood at the grassroots levels.

Our Objectives:

  1. Advocacy for activities that minimize violence against women and girls;
  2. To train women and girls in entrepreneurial skills for poverty alleviation;
  3. Encourage and support women/girls to go to school and promote quality education;
  4. Seeking better ways to improve “Bridgers services for community development.

Mission:

To empower women/girls through advocacy.

Our Vision:

To be a leading Organization in Africa empowering women through advocacy.

Call for Partnership

We look forward to welcome partnerships and collaboration to achieve results   with anyone anywhere.
