A Ugandan person with disability , I am passionate about social inclusion of persons with disabilities. With a masters in community disability studies, UCL, and certificate in health and disability from LSHTM both in London, I have worked with national DPOs in UK, Uganda and Rwanda. With project planning training from Virgina University and University of California Irving, both in USA, I am able to utilise this background in disability/social inclusion programming. My research specialization is in qualitative studies, and use of participatory action research techniques for evidence generation is my favourite. The adaptation and use of Stepping Stone technique of communication for complex issues like disability and conflict resolution are another favourite.
Kasim Sajjabi is the network champion (main point of contact) for Buganda Environment and Development Initiative (BEDI).
