Our organization provides civil legal services to seniors and people of limited financial means in the Western New York area of New York State, United States of America.  We provide traditional full-scope legal assistance in the areas of consumer, housing, healthcare, elder abuse, kinship/family law, US citizenship, and guardianship.  We provide bedside legal services to patients at area hospitals through our Medical-Legal Partnerships and brief estate law services through our Surrogate Court Help Desk.  We also provide brief legal services in all non-criminal areas of law to seniors through our Legal Advice Helpline.  We have a Mobile Legal Unit that is used to bring legal service clinics to underserved and geographically isolated areas. Finally, we provide tools for partner agencies such as social workers, hospitals, and financial institutions to screen clients for potential legal risks and financial exploitation through our Risk Detector and Senior Financial Safety Tool web-based apps.  Our organization strives to empower seniors, economically disadvantaged people, and people with disabilities to maintain independence and dignity by providing them with quality legal services at no cost.
