Centre for Women’s Awareness and Development (CWAD) is a non-profiting, non-governmental, non-political, research and service oriented organization is actively engaged in protecting human rights of women and disadvantaged groups with a view to upgrade their quality of life. CWAD, established in July 1997, as a social and non-governmental organization, is composed of a group of dedicated professionals who are committed to address the issues of discrimination, exploitation an inequality faced by Nepalese women.
The mission of CWAD is to reduce gender-based violence, protection and promotion of human rights of women, children and marginalized groups as well as economic empowerment of the women and to influence policy making and implementing agencies for women’s participation in decision-making process.

I am an advocate. Since 20 years I have been involving in women's Empowerment Programs enabling through economic and legal awareness. I have my expertise on Gender, Human Trafficking and Women Rights. I became interest to join this Network to share my experiences and learning and same time to get knowledge and skills from others so can apply these to my work for empowering enjoy the rights with freely and lead the national position .
