ACED is an independent non-profit organization created 10 years ago in Benin (West Africa). We contribute to a world where all communities live a decent life in a sustainable environment.

Our mission is to strengthen communities with sustainable solutions to poverty and hunger in a healthy environment. We combine research, policy, and local action to reduce poverty and hunger in the most vulnerable communities.
We act as a think-and-do tank.

Our work is based on 4 pillars
1 – Improving Smallholder Farmers’ Access to Innovation and Markets
2 – Protecting nature and associated ecosystem services
3 – Putting scientific evidence at the service of society and nature
4 – Building an effective and sustainable organization.
