Centre for Development of Institutions (CDI) is a research-based institution established for knowledge-driven, innovative ideas to reposition institutions for effective delivery of their core mandate. It rests on the philosophy that when institutions are strengthening, sustainable development not only ensues but also thrives. We have a history of engaging in Advocacy, Empowerment, Research, and Programs that would sustain the efficiency and effectiveness of institutions in Nigeria.

The Centre provides consulting services in public and private sector development, corporate strategy, human resource management, and innovative solutions that give cutting-edge advantages to our numerous clients. The depth and diversity of our training programs offer continuous personal and professional development and practical skills for improved performance.

In line with our contextual analysis, vision, and mission, the Institute has six overriding strategic objectives as follows:

To promote Leadership, Democracy, and Good Governance through the harnessing of human and material resources;
To encourage citizens, political participation through research, capacity building, publications, periodicals, political advocacy, and conferences;
To Strengthen Institutions through Capacity building, seminar, and policy dialogue;
To Design Sustainable Strategies for Institutions by undertaking pertinent research;
Guarantee compliance of Institutional founding Objectives through designing & executing projects and programs in line with core aims and objectives
Facilitate spirit of free enterprise through initiating co-operation individuals, corporate, government, non-government agencies.

CDI has been involved in areas of capacity building, awareness campaigns, and advocacy. The Centre strengthens institutional and governance by engaging the public in advocacy and awareness projects on the forthcoming Continuous Voters Registration and COVID-19 pandemic awareness campaign.
