Change focused organization is a National non -governmental organization which was born to address issues of deep-rooted retrogressive cultural practices, poor quality of life, and low developmental opportunities amongst women, youth, and children. As the name suggests the organization seeks to create a positive impact and sustainable social change in the Coastal Counties.

The organization came into being as a result of realizing predominant inhibiting factors including the retrogressive cultural practices such as patriarchy, social injustices, and unequal resource distribution for a very long time. These are some of the practices which are deeply engrained amongst the Coastal communities and have therefore led to the low quality of health choices & environment, poor quality of educational outcomes as well as infringement on women’s rights.

Our main beneficiaries and target group include women, young girls of reproductive age, children, and youth.

We envision a society enjoying a sustainable decent life. We intend to realize its vision through strengthening the capacity and transformation of society in order to enjoy decent and dignified lives. Our overall goal is to promote and ensure positive transformation and change in socio-economic spheres.

2. Championing of women developmental rights and youth economic empowerment opportunities
3. Ensuring an improved level of health and nutrition amongst women and children

5. Relieving immediate suffering of the less disadvantaged through mobilization and distribution of in-kind resources.
