I am any human rights activist working with communities affected by extractive industry projects in Mozambique, specifically in Tete, Nampula and Gaza provinces - coal and heavy sands reserves - and Cabo Delgado and Inhambane - oil and gas reserves. My passion is to work closely with people that are impacted, in order to empower them with mining, oil and gas legal framework, so that they are aware about and are capacitated to demand their rights from the duty bearers and multinational companies.

Joining this network will give me an opportunity to engage with other human rights activists all over the globe, but also it will be a platform to share and learn from other community based advocacy, specifically on extractive industry.
Higino Filimone is the network champion (main point of contact) for Christian Council of Mozambique (CCM).
