Community justice and anti –corruption forum (Cjaf UG) is a non-governmental, nonpartisan and not for profit human rights/ legal aid organization established in 2008.we serve a broad range of vulnerable persons /communities around us. We are duly registered under the NGO ACT 2016 laws of Uganda, further approved by Uganda law council to provide legal aid to the vulnerable and indigent persons under THE ADVOCATES (legal aid to indigent persons) regulations 2007.We are focused to promoting,   protecting  &  uplifting  values /morals  of human rights, access to justice for the poor, rule of law & fighting against corruption within local communities in Uganda, thus creating a coordinated  effective  and  sustainable human rights culture, access to justice for the poor,  vulnerable and marginalized persons within local communities all over Uganda. With more than 10 years’ experience empowering grassroot communities on human rights & access to justice. CJAF UG is a member of Legal Aid Service Providers Network (LASPNET). We have a competent team of highly skilled professionals, to wit; lawyers, Advocates of the high court of Uganda, Social workers, Certified public accountants and community paralegals at the grass root capable of assessing service gaps and needs of the communities regarding human rights violations & access to justice needs with experience in anticipating and addressing the identified barriers in the local communities to provide the basis for effectively delivering interventions and services. Advocacy on gender mainstreaming, women emancipation, equity & economic empowerment of women and girls has always been among our core activities. Our programs are cost effective thus offering value for money, directly engaging at the grass root with a big number of direct beneficiaries. We are reliable and zealous about human rights and access to justice for the poor; we are rapid and responsive in providing justice relief to the vulnerable poor communities.
