I am Shawana Shah from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan, working for the peace promotion and women/trans rights since my early age. I have been involved in the implementation and awareness of laws to eliminate gender based violence. I am working at the local communities to raise awareness on the laws to eliminate gender based violence and training them to be the changemakers in their societies. The membership of the network will help me connect with the communities across the globe working on the issues related to gender equality and gender based violence, which can be helpful in chalking out better strategies for global equality.
