Development Action and Research Project Africa (DARP Africa)

Darp Africa saw how many bright young people in Kenya were denied a chance for an education due to family poverty – and did something about it. Since our start we have touched many livee of students.

Darp Africa provides access to education for Kenyan youth who have been orphaned by the HIV/Aids pandemic.
Goals are to to reduce illiteracy through increased access to education and information technology; to alleviate poverty; and, to achieve an improved standard of living for youth living in Kenya.

The Four Cornerstones of Darp Africa are EDUCATION, HEALTH, WATER and ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT through Agriculture and Livestock Management.

The Mission of Darp is based on the following core values:

I have excellent researching and problem solving skills and a proven ability to manage and complete tasks to the highest order and standards, with meticulous attention to details. I am also versatile, analytical, hardworking, team player and highly motivated by professional excellence to achieve ambitious goals and results. I have zeal for community mobilization and directing towards sustainable expend of their resources to ascertain socio-economic development. I have worked in the following fields: Community Education services Kenya/Canada as a board member, Darp-Africa as a project manager, Probation Department, addressing, case work, child rights protection, community work and resource mobilization, project identification, planning and management, social policy, administration and planning, Need Assessment and Rehabilitation Plan preparation , Interviewing and report writing; Kimetrics company limited, particularly, entering data into the company databases, house hold research on agriculture and data reconciliation. As a member of Muslim Members’ Association, I have been involved in work in various areas that include building community capacity, talent acquisition, conflict and peace resolution, good governance and development as well as environmental conservation. In educational institutions, I was involved in ICT integration among teachers and students.
