Enough is Enough (EiE) Nigeria is a network of individuals and organizations committed to instituting the culture of good governance and public accountability through active citizenship.

Presence in: Nigeria
Focus: Governance

Enough is Enough’s (EiE) goal is to institute good governance and public accountability in Nigeria through active citizenship. Our vision is to have a young and engaged citizenry. To achieve this, our strategic priorities include promoting processes that enhance young people’s engagement in governance and accountability by leveraging the power of technology and media. In 5 years, EiE through its OfficeOfTheCitizen and other programmes would have reached and built an active citizenry of 1 million young Nigerians who become leaders and engage their communities on issues around good governance, accountability and transparency. Beyond these, EiE will continue working to advocate and engage with public office holders on their civic responsibilities.

EiE works to help citizens understand laws clearly enough to make demands from their elected representatives.

I am Dapo & work with Enough is Enough (EiE) Nigeria as the Program Officer. EiE works to raise a community of active citizens that demand good governance & public accountability from elected officials.
In the legal part of our work, we focus on how to ensure the laws written in legalese terms & difficult for ordinary Nigerians to understand are broken down into clear terms. This we believe will help raise a large mass of enlightened citizens who can hold elected officials accountable.
Joining the network will be a platform for experience sharing & an opportunity to learn how to further help citizens use laws already written for them & get the desired results.
Dapo Awobeku is the network champion (main point of contact) for Enough is Enough Nigeria.
