The EfG envisions vibrant and economically empowered women in the informal sector. The empowered women in the informal sector will be supported and facilitated by a business market-place1 that is free from gender, legal and economic barriers, where women informal traders of all levels operate freely on an equal footing with men and are free from all types of exploitation.

Empower the informal sector in Tanzania, particularly informal sector women to increase incomes and reduce household poverty through ensuring their access to legal and human rights education, business related opportunities, active engagement in policy and practice reforms and capacity building.
