FIDA Kenya through its flagship Access to Justice Programme prides itself as the premier women rights organization that is committed to providing access to justice to marginalized women through provision of legal advice, legal aid, self representation training, pro bono lawyer scheme, legal representation and strategic impact litigation.

In addition we undertake women’s rights monitoring, advocacy, education, referral, awareness raising on women rights, advocacy for the women rights protection and promotion, engagement with National, County and Civil Society Institutions to implement policies and procedures that protect women rights as well as engagement with international instruments and mechanisms in promoting women rights.

FIDA Kenya for instance has observer status with ECOSOC and African Commission. In addition FIDA holds Kenyan government accountable to compliance with their national and international obligations.
