The Global Alliance for A Healthy Society (GAHSO) is a youth-led organization founded in 2016 to facilitate all round empowerment of vulnerable and marginalized communities in Kenya.

The Global Alliance for A Healthy Society (GAHSO) is a youth-led organization founded in 2016 to facilitate all round empowerment of vulnerable and marginalized communities in Kenya. We are based in Bondo sub county, Opposite IEBC ground, south western Kenya.
Our main objective is to support vulnerable and marginalized communities , in particular the youth , persons with disabilities, Women, Children and people injecting drugs in the following sectors:
• Health – public health services (including hygiene, epidemiology, and disease
prevention).
• Education.
• Sustainable livelihoods (including climate-smart agriculture)
• Empowerment of the vulnerable and marginalized especially Adolescent Girls and Young Women (AGYW) and children

Gregory is the founder of Global Alliance for A Healthy Society and a highly experienced financial management professional with over 5 years of experience in Grants administration of more than (5) Donor funds. Gregory strong program management includes launch through closeout, human resource management, financial planning, cooperative agreement compliance, Sub –award management and reporting. and reporting. Having worked with multiple donors, including USAID, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Catholic Relief Services, Uhai Eashri and African Women Development Fund (AWFD), he brings specific skills in accountability and management of large donor-funded projects.

Gregory has a proven ability to design and maintain accounting systems, preparing periodic financial reports and supervising the work of the staff accountants. Proficient in assessing risks and internal controls by identifying areas of non-compliance; evaluating manual and automated financial processes; identifying process weaknesses and inefficiencies and operational issues. Possessing excellent communication skills and having the ability to communicate professionally with clients and colleagues on financial issues.
