The Global Campaign for Equal Nationality Rights mobilizes action for the reform of nationality laws that discriminate on the basis of gender. The Campaign consists of a coalition of national, regional, and international NGOs, activists, academics, and UN agencies, including Steering Committee Members Equality Now, Equal Rights Trust, the Institute on Statelessness and Inclusion, UNHCR, and Women’s Refugee Commission, which houses the Campaign. Interested organizations and individuals are invited to join the Campaign Coalition.

I am the Campaign Manager of the Global Campaign for Equal Nationality Rights (Global Campaign), which mobilizes action for the reform of nationality laws that discriminate on the basis of gender. The Campaign consists of a coalition of national, regional, and international NGOs, activists, academics, and UN agencies, including Steering Committee Members Equality Now, Equal Rights Trust, the Institute on Statelessness and Inclusion, UNHCR, and Women’s Refugee Commission, which houses my position.

The Global Campaign is eager to collaborate with Namati members interested in advancing gender equal nationality rights in the 50+ countries that maintain gender discriminatory nationality laws (http://equalnationalityrights.org/the-issue/the-problem).
