Pak Women is working since 1998 at district level. Registered at provincial level under Societies Registration Act 1860 from January 2012. Pak Women mission is “To make a just society where poor particularly women, children and disable persons enjoy their full rights with their Socio Economic and Political development”, contributing to its vision, “Just, peaceful and prosperous society”.

Programs and Objectives:

Haq Program: To work for good governance, strengthening local governments, protect and promote human rights of women (basic human rights, land rights, protection from VAW and GBV), children and PWDs, transparency and accountability through citizen engagement in pro women, children and PWDs reforms, legislation, planning and budgeting and strengthening citizen voice on evidence basis and sustainable basis. Pak Women has Gender Equality Network (GEN) of 250 women leaders and also has a network of DPOs from entire Pakistan with the name of Himmat Network, working on research and advocacy.

Zindagi Program: To work for health of Persons with Disabilities (PWDs), protection of mother and child health and prevention of HIV/AIDS, elimination of preventable maternal and new born deaths through strengthening systems, citizen engagement and voice and evidence based advocacy for reforms and legislation with key stakeholders on sustainable basis.

Khushhali Program: To work for women and persons with disabilities economic development through skill development, micro enterprises development and micro credit as well as facilitation and linkages development for sale and marketing of their products as well as through reforms on sustainable basis.

Brekhna Prgoram: To promote formal and non formal education, adult literacy particularly for women, girls and persons with disabilities through service delivery, strengthening citizen engagement and voices as well as through evidence based advocacy for reforms and legislation with key stakeholders on sustainable basis.
