GENESIS:
Ideal development Agency (IDA) operational in the district of Keonjhar (Odisha) since 1990 – a journey continued since last two decades. The organization came into being during the year 1990 following long association of its members with the destitute people in the Bansapal Block. The members of the organisation obey the thumb rule “”United we stand and divided we fall”, which has enabled the organization to instil self-confidence and self-reliance among the members. The fundamental principle of the founding members of the IDA is to build the wall brick .Taking a cue from the principle, they approached individuals to come under one umbrella and named this umbrella as “IDEAL DEVELOPMENT AGENCY”.
As a nascent organization, during the initial year of intervention, it has made its presence felt in the remote Suakati village of Bans pal Block by undertaking rehabilitation activities for the aged.Gradually it extends out towards ensuring its’ supports for rendering better service to the vulnerable children and families for enabling them ensure and improve their livelihood and provide quality services. It adopts a right-based approach for its’ metered interventions. The unique experiment of IDA is to eradicate the poverty is through education and making Institutions sustainable through community organisations ,create local leadership.

MISSION: Empower the most marginalized communities, specially Women and Children; and enabling them to take initiatives towards self-sustenance.

• Livelihood for women and adolescents(14-18 years) of most marginalized families (associated to various risks-define them).
