OUR OBJECTIVES

In keeping with UN’s Sustainable Development Goals, (SDGs), the aims and objectives of this organization are:

  1. Ensuring the general development of youths and communities. Special focus is on health, skills and personality/character development.
  2. Communicating values and hope for purposeful living
  3. Alleviating poverty and economic empowerment of widows and the poor through skills acquisition, encouraging entrepreneurial efforts through training and funding
  4. Addressing special gender issues and need to enhance the actualization of the potential of the womenfolk and fighting against trafficking in humans and child-labour.
  5. Providing youths with role models that can inspire challenges, mentor and train them with love and understanding.
  6. Addressing reproductive health issues and encouraging sports development.

Chinedu holds Bachelor of Art degree in Philosophy at Second Class, Upper Division from the University of Calabar, Nigeria and a Master of Art degree in Philosophy from Imo State University, Nigeria. He holds a PhD from Imo State University also in Philosophy. Chinedu is a development worker in the NGO he founded since 2007 and incorporated in 2011 and serves as its Executive Director.
The Organization headquartered in Benin City, Edo State, was founded out of his passion to contribute to youth and community development. Chinedu ensures the organization achieves its set objectives by implementing activities and projects that make a difference in the lives of rural dwellers especially. The activities centre on health, skills acquisition and talent development issues. Chinedu has designed and supervised the implementation of several successful externally-funded projects
These are beside the Organization’s projects on skills acquisition, enlightenment events and other community-based youth development programs. As an outstanding SDGs advocate, the Organization he founded has a sub-Unit known as NEXTGEN SDGs Movement which promotes the achievement of the SDGs through enlightenment and various activities.
Chinedu has been involved in leadership all through school as class leader and up to students’ union leadership at the University. He is a team player and communicator who is able to harness the energies of the team members towards achieving objectives. He is a shrewd and prudent manager of available resources.
Chinedu Samuel is an author who has published 6 books centred on health and youth development. Chinedu is a Public & Conference Speaker, Teacher, Mentor, Singer, Consultant & Human Development expert. He has featured prominently in Television discourses on popular Nigerian TV stations including the African Independent Television’s Kakaaki Program; Independent Television’s This Morning on ITV and Impact programs and Edo Broadcasting Service’s DayBreak and Security programs. He recently spoke at an international conference at Makerere University, Republic of Uganda, East Africa, under the auspices of Together For Africa, (TFA) where he also found time to mentor youth. He has had engagements with Zimbabwean youth under the auspices of Zimbabwe Young Ambassadors (ZYA) that held at St Mark’s High School, Harare and was a special guest on Zimbabwe National television lunchtime news viewed nationwide.
Chinedu contributes to peace and security in society as he volunteers as an honorary traffic Mayor in Edo State, Nigeria and as a member of the Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC) where he serves as Chairman of the New Etete Division of the Nigeria Police Force PCRC. In the years ahead, Chinedu aspires to teach in the University and be active in the political development of great country of Nigeria.
